Day 1: Chiclayo - Chachapoyas
Morning departure from Chiclayo. We visit Lambayeque, south Piura, the North of Cajamarca and the Amazonasregion.
The roads are mostly unpaved. Start on the coast and arriving at late afternoon in the rain forest of Chachapoyas. (Lunch box + dinner) overnight in a hostel with colonial style.
Day 2: Chachapoyas
After breakfast, visit the Kuelap, the spectacular walled city from the pre-Inca times, hiding on the ridge of the mountain. Kuelap was discovered 60 years ago, although Machu Picchu. (Lunch box) return to Chillo, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Chachapoyas
After breakfast, trip to the grave towers of Macro und across the river Utcubamba. Following this opportunity for a ride to the grave sites in the rocks of Revash. The rock walls there show geometric drawings and pictures of Llamas and Alpacas. Dinner and overnight in Chillo.
Day 4: Chachapoyas - Leymebamba
Breakfast. Ride to Leymebamba. On the way stop in Las Palmas, from there walk to la Congona, a settlement of Cahchapoyas culture. Move rock paintings and defense towers can be seen in the middle Urwals. Return to Leymebamba, there Dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Leymebamba - Cajamarca
Breakfast. Morning visit to the Museum of Leymebamba with its amazing collection of well-preserved mummies from the pre-Inca times, which were discovered in the Laguna de los Condores. On the drive to Celendin Overcome two Andean chains that come through the rain forest, agricultural lands, desert-like areas and the Maraņon Valley. Overnight in Celendin.
Day 6: Cajamarca
Visit of "Ventanillas de Otuzco," a graveyard from the pre-Inca period. Afternoon visit of Cajamarca. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7: Cajamarca
Breakfast and transfer to the airport.
