Day 1: Bogota - Villa de Leyva
Breakfast. Departure to the National Heritage Site Boyacá. Visit to the historical Bridge "Puente de Boyaca" which stamped Colombian’s independence and the colonial city of Tunja. Arrival at Villa de Leyva in the afternoon. This small town has preserved its cobblestone streets and beautiful colonial houses. Admire the 14,000 square meter cobble-stoned main plaza which is the largest in Colombia and has a very special atmosphere. Overnight in Villa de Leyva.
Day 2: Villa de Leyva - Bogota
In the morning, visit of the historical town of Villa de Leyva, visit to the cronosarium, (dinosaurian exposition) the desert called “Infiernito” and the Dominican Convent “Santo Ecce Homo”, built in 1620. On the way back to Bogota, stop at the traditional town of Raquira, where you can admire the beautiful artisan pottery.
