Day 1: Bogota
Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 2: Bogota –Zipaquira
After breakfast we start a city tour visiting the traditional La Candelaria neighborhood, Bolivar Square, Presidential Palace, the Cathedral, the Congress House, the Gold Museum an Bolivar’s country house. At noon we leave for the town of Zipaquira, where we will have our lunch and then we visit the wonderful Salt Cathedral. Return to Bogota and overnight.
Day 3: Bogota – Nuqui
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport and flight to Nuqui. Boat transportation until the lodge El Cantil. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Nuqui
Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion through the Rainforest with a specialized guide. Lunch and dinner. Overnight.
Day 5: Nuqui - Medellin
Reception and transfer from the airport to the hotel.Overnight in Medellin.
Day 6: Medellin
Half day tour of the City of the Eternal Spring: Metropolitan Cathedral, Pueblito Paisa, Monument to Life, the most important districts El Poblado.
Day 7: Medellin - Santa Fe de Antioquia - Medellin
Full day excursion to west area of Medellín. Visit of the traditional towns: Sopetran, San Jeronimo, Santa Fe de Antioquia (famous for it marvelous colonial architecture of houses and churches. It was the former capital city of the Department of Antioquia) , The West Bridge. Overnight in Medellin
Day 8: Medellin - Coffee Region
Transfer from the hotel to the coffee farm (6 hours). Dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Coffee Region
Breakfast and transfer to the Coffee Park to learn the history of this important product for Colombia. In the afternoon visit to the Cocora Valley and the with their typical Wax Palms and the marvelous town Salento, dinner and lodging.
Day 10: Coffee Region - Popayan
Breakfast and drive to Popayan. Upon arrival walking visit to the colonial city of Popayan, famous for the traditional churches and its wonderful architecture. Overnight in Popayan.
Day 11: Popayan - San Agustin
Breakfast. Departure for the drive on gravel road to San Agustin,crossing the Andean mountain chain near the National Park Purace (8 hours). Arrival an overnight at San Agustín.
Day 12: San Agustin
Breakfast. Visit to the Archeological Park of San Agustin and the Mesitas the Ceremonial Lavapatas Fountain and the Archeological Museum. In the afternoon horsebackriding to La Chaquira and El Tablon. Dinner and overnight.
Day 13: San Agustin
Breakfast. Drive to Isnos in order to visit the "Alto de los Los Idolos" and "Alto de Las Piedras". On the road visit to Mortiño waterfall. Overnight in San Agustín.
Day 14: San Agustin - Cartagena
Transfer to Neiva airport (4 hours) and flight to Cartagena over Bogotá. Transfer to the hotel and overnight in Cartagena.
Day 15: Cartagena
Half day visit to the this beautiful city with an amazing history background and the smell of the Caribbean sea.
Day 16: Cartagena
Breakfast. Day free for leisure or optional (USD 95,- )boat tour to the Rosario islands (option for snorkeling or scuba diving). Lunch. In the afternoon return to Cartagena.
Day 17: Cartagena
Transfer to the airport.
