Day 1: Bogota
Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 2: Bogota - Zipaquira
After breakfast we start a city tour visiting the traditional La Candelaria neighborhood, Bolivar Square, Presidential Palace, the Cathedral, the Congress House, the Gold Museum an Bolivar’s country house. At noon we leave for the town of Zipaquira, where we will have our lunch and then we visit the wonderful Salt Cathedral. Return to Bogota and overnight.
Day 3: Bogota - Villa de Leyva
After Breakfast we depart to the typicial colonial town of Villa de Leyva (4 hours). Stop on the route at Tunja, capital of the region. Overnight in Villa de Leyva.
Day 4 : Villa de Leyva - Bogota
In the morning we visit the historical town of Villa de Leyva, visit to the cronosarium, (dinosaurian exposition) the desert called “Infiernito” and the Convent St. Ecce Homo. On the return way to Bogota we stop at the traditional town of Raquira, where you can admire their handcrafts. Overnight in Bogota.
Day 5: Bogota - Armenia
Reception and transfer from the airport to the coffee farm. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Coffee Region
Breakfast. Visit to the Cocora Valley and the with their typical Wax Palms and the marvelous town Salento and Filandia, dinner and lodging.
Day 7: Coffee Region - Neiva - San Agustin
Breakfast and transfer to the San Agustin located in the south of Colombia, in the middle of the Andean Region. Overnight.
Day 8: San Agustin
Breakfast. Visit to the Archeological Park of San Agustin and the Mesitas the Ceremonial Lavapatas Fountain and the Archeological Museum. In the afternoon horsebackriding to La Chaquira and El Tablon. Dinner and overnight.
Day 9: San Agustin - Popayan
Breakfast. In the morning departure to Popayan, crossing the Andean mountain chain near the National Park Purace (8 hours). Arrival and overnight in Popayan.
Day 10: Popayan
Breakfast. In the morning walking visit to the colonial city of Popayan, famous for the traditional churches and its wonderful architecture. Overnight.
Day 11: Popayan - Cartagena
After breakfast, transfer to the airport in order to board our flight to Cartagena. Transfer to the hotel.
Day 12: Cartagena
Half day visit to the this beautiful city with an amazing history background and the smell of the Caribbean sea.
Day 13: Cartagena
Breakfast. Day free for leisure or optional (USD 95,- )boat tour to the Rosario islands (option for snorkeling or scuba diving). Lunch. In the afternoon return to Cartagena.
Day 14: Cartagena
Transfer to the airport.
